Student-Driven Charity Initiative
The New Indian School W.L.L., Kingdom of Bahrain, successfully conducted a student-led charity initiative aimed at supporting community welfare and reinforcing the values of empathy, sharing, and social responsibility among young learners.
As part of the initiative, students from Classes 2 to 5 actively participated in collecting food items, demonstrating commendable enthusiasm and a strong sense of compassion at an early age. The drive reflected the school’s continued efforts to instil humanitarian values alongside academic learning.
The collected food items were officially handed over by the school authorities to the representatives of the Indian Community Welfare Association (ICWA) in a formal exchange marked by mutual gratitude and appreciation. The gesture underscored a shared commitment towards supporting those in need and strengthening community bonds.
The initiative was formally acknowledged during a special school assembly, where the importance of giving back to society was highlighted. School leaders and guests appreciated the wholehearted involvement of the students and lauded their collective effort in making the drive a meaningful success.
Through this initiative, The New Indian School once again reaffirmed its belief that true education lies in shaping socially responsible individuals who are aware of their role in creating a more compassionate and inclusive society.
